Action Fighter

From: Rick Lappeman
Comments: This was a great game for its time. Definately not one of my favourites but it was revolutionary as it gave everyone the first taste of something different in the one game. wether you are a car cycle or plane the action stays hot and the mission the same. To kill or be killed! This game deserves seven alex's

My Hero

From: Rick Lappeman
Comments: Well Since I am trying to become the websites official Sega game tester and reviewer I decided to play this old gem for the first time today. I was warned about tis stupididty in the past and worried i was gonna waste my time..... I was joyfully mistaken! This game is actualy quite good especialy for its age and despite its simple graphics and commical cartoonish plot the game is very addictive. Basicly you have to get as far as you can before losing your lives and like in space harrier the further you travel the more points you accumulate. You gotta punch, Kick and dodge your way around lots of different badguys and the challenge is they come in both directions in this side scroller so one wrong move and you are cornered. Anyway despite what anyone says the constant action and strategy element in quickly deciding what you have to do next keeps this game very fresh and I am proud to give it eight alex's. I would give it more but hey the perfect game has to be a one in a million!

Battle Out Run

From: Rick lappeman
Comments: Well I plugged this game in for the first time when I was nine and a quick warning you will get a rush of blood! This is a superb game which took the beat the clock idea one step further. Beat the clock by taking out your opponent at the same time! The object of Battle outrun is one by one travel all over the different american states and rival the biggest hotrod in the state. In each level he speeds away from you and your job is too catch up, gain powerups for your vehicle and then finaly rear end him until his car is no longer running before the clock reaches zero. This is not an easy game and the challenge will keep you playing for awhile. The Music is great, the game is great but the graphics dissapoint me a little. Despite that for a solid racer I would probably pic this over the original outrun and Chase Hq but Hang on is still the best!

Double Dragon

From: Rick Lappeman
Comments: Well this was the first double Dragon i Played and I loved it. I played it for the first time at 8 and now at 20 I still do. The nintendo Version was very good but lacked the essence the original sega master system plot had so If you like Nintendo's Double Dragon you may love Sega Master systems. The only downside is that this game is far too short!

Comments: Not Bad I guess but there are better games. I still think space harrier is sega's best shooter of all time but this one is ok if you can get past the wierd handeling. Very pretty to look at though and the scenery changes in every advancing level are great to look at.

Comments: Well for its capability's you couldn't possibly ask for a better casino game on sega master system. Definately play this one even if its for old times sake. The computer intellegence may surprise you as this game has a well calculated difficuly all depending on which computer opponent you pick to play with.

Comments: When I was a kid I was hesitent to play this, because we all know mickey mouse is a damn pussy. I got a nice surprise though as its a real fun platform game that will keep you busy with many original and pleasent to look at themes. Although I still find Mickey Mouse is a pussy you should get this game its good..........but not great.

From: Rick Lappeman
Comments: This would always be a good game despite what system it is on, but there is always something missing from it and in my opinion the Arcade version is the only true classic, but anyway its a good medieval beat em up, but by no means great, because i used to like the blood and permanent dead bodies that lied around in the arcade version. All of that is missing on every console conversion.

Comments: The graphics are poor, the game is fustratingly hard.......But still loads of fun. if you can look past that you must get this as it was one of the best outrunner vehicle racers of its time. Still in some arcades today because its that much of a hit!

Comments: This game is almost based on Rollerball, that violent movie with james Kahn. The object is to throw balls into the goal area to win games just like soccer...but if your opponent has the ball beat the crap out of him to get it back. Basicly the last team standing wins and its what makes this game so bloody good!

Comments: I didn't think a pure RPG of wonderboy could work but it does and it does very well. With great platform elements involved this game is a great challenge with lots of neat surprises and great morphs to get your hands on but despite this you have to look at the facts and realise that Wonderboy in Monsterland is clearly better.

Comments: A great outrunner game. Its a lot of fun to keep your scores and track records but only download this if you have an emulator and you can save your progress, its a waste otherwise. I cant give this game good marks because on sega it had no save feature and when you had no scores to beat there was no point in comming back.
